Welcome to Minot North, Students!

Dear Students and Parents,

We hope you are looking forward to the new school year at Minot North. As we prepare for the upcoming academic term, we want to update you on important dates and events. Due to ongoing construction at our school some of our original plans have changed slightly.

9th Grade Orientation: Invitations for freshmen orientation have been sent out through Parent Square. If you haven't received the notice or are unable to attend, please visit the Student Support Center page. There, you can sign up for a session or inform us of your inability to attend. For those unable to participate, we will email the counselor presentation and instructions on accessing your schedule, paying fees, obtaining your student ID, and updating demographic information.

10th & 11th Grade Open House: This year, 10th and 11th grade students are invited to the open house for grades 9-12. Specific timing details will be announced closer to the event.

12th Grade Senior Meetings: A Parent Square message has been sent for seniors to choose their senior meeting time with their counselor. If you haven't received this message, please visit the Minot North Student Support Center page and click on the “Senior Meetings” link to select your appointment times. Each senior will have a 20-minute session to discuss credits and plans for their senior year. Before or after the senior meeting, all seniors are encouraged to pay fees, obtain their student ID, and update demographic information.

Virtual Academy Students: Virtual academy students are requested to call and schedule an appointment with their counselor before the start of school.

New Students to Minot Public Schools: If you are new to Minot Public Schools, please enroll with our district office. Visit our website at Minot Public Schools Enrollment Services. Once enrolled, we will contact you to schedule an appointment with your counselor.

All Students: Please note that schedule adjustments can only be made by filling out the schedule adjustment request form available at the Student Support Center at Minot North. Due to ample time given in the spring, there will be limited schedule adjustments this year.

Important Dates:

  • PowerSchool will be accessible to view schedules starting on 08/19/24.

  • Open House (tentatively) August 20th - a message will go out and be posted on the Minot North website.

For any questions or further assistance, please contact the Minot North Student Support Center at 701-418-1721

We look forward to a successful school year with you at Minot North!
